Our home

We live in Troisdorf-Altenrath, in the beautiful Wahner Heide.

These are flourishing nations beside marshes, moorlands and swamp forests, open dunes adjacent to pools, ponds and natural streams. Around 700 endangered animal and plant species are found in the second largest and most diverse conservation area of North Rhine-Westphalia, which is located between Cologne, Rösrath and Troisdorf.

We use the week's late hours to enjoy this beautiful landscape walking the dogs. In the recent years we already encountered many of those animals and many times I had search the net, because we have seen an unknown snake, frog or bird.
